Damien explains: “With everything that has happened over the last few years due to the pandemic, people want their homes to be a calming place. It’s happening everywhere, so it’s going to be a trend that sticks around - we’ll continue to see it for the next five to ten years, and that’s due to the feelings that are evoked from those kinds of shapes such as ‘comfort’ and ‘calm’ due to the soft lines.” Why are ‘organic shapes’ on-trend this season?Īs rounded corners and soft smooth forms are reminiscent of nature, they evoke a feeling of calm and relaxation in a room and contribute to a feeling of wellbeing which is especially important this season.
